The 5 in 1 Convertible refrigerator, which on the surface, looks similar to a regular double-door fridge. While that may be true, the actual difference lies inside. These Samsung refrigerators come with five modes of usage.
- Regular: At first, there is the regular mode where the refrigerator functions normally. Here, the top compartment is the deep freezer, and the lower is the fridge. Pretty regular.
- Seasonal: Next up is the seasonal mode, where you can completely turn off the freezer when you don’t need it. For example, in winter when you don’t need ice cubes, you can simply turn on the seasonal mode and save electricity instead.
- Extra Fridge: Thirdly, we have the “Extra Fridge” mode. In this mode, you can convert the deep freezer into a regular fridge. Given that, you get extra space for your groceries.
- Vacation: As the name suggests, this mode is for the times when you are away from home for an extended period. It is exactly the opposite of the seasonal mode, meaning, the regular fridge is completely turned off while the deep freezer runs.
- Home Alone: Lastly, this mode is a hybrid of the previous two modes. Here, only the deep freezer part of the refrigerator is running, but, like a regular fridge. As a result, it effectively turns into a mini fridge for the times when you need low storage.
