A while ago, the Chinese company launched the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in China and India. While the global version is also out with some changes and it has gone official in Nepal. Display and Design

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features come with a slightly revamped design as compared to the Note 13 Pro Plus. Particularly on the camera module part, as the module is now placed at a more center of the phone and has a design similar to that of the iQOO Z9 series. Meanwhile, Redmi has downgraded the IP rating on this guy to IP68 from IP69 on the Indian/Chinese variant.

The display here is a 6.67-inch 1.5K HDR OLED curved display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colors, Dolby Vision, DCI-P3 color gamut, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Camera Features

The global variant of Note 14 Pro Plus retains the 200MP sensor with OIS from the last gen. It sadly trades the 50MP JN1 2.5X telephoto lens with a useless 2MP macro unit. While the 8MP ultrawide camera remains unchanged. Upfront, there is a 20MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Performance

The Note 13 Pro+ featured the Dimensity 7200 chipset. While the new Redmi Note 14 Pro+ incorporates the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SOC. Its chipset is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Moreover, the phone runs on Android 14 out of the box with HyperOS 1.0 skin on top. 

Battery and Additional

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ drops the sizeable 6,200mAh silicon-carbon battery and trades in for a 5110mAh cell instead. Meanwhile, the charging speed takes a bump to 120W from the 90W of the Chinese/Indian variant. The device includes dual speakers and an IR blaster. In terms of durability, it has an IP69 rating, making it resistant to dust and water.
