Xiaomi’s budget lineup just got more interesting as the Redmi 15C gets official in Nepal with a massive 6000 mAh battery. This article will discuss everything about the latest Redmi 15C, including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
You’re getting a pretty large 6.9-inch IPS LCD screen with a surprisingly 120Hz refresh rate. The display has that classic waterdrop notch design.
Meanwhile, at 173 x 81 x 8.2mm and 205 grams, the Redmi 15C is not exactly lightweight, but that’s expected with the bigger battery inside. The phone comes in four color options: Midnight Gray, Blue, Green, and Twilight Orange.
At its core is the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It should be obvious that the G81-Ultra is not a performance-centric phone, or even a gaming device, if you will, but for basic apps and light gaming, I think it’ll do the job.
Xiaomi has gone with a 50MP main camera on the back of the Redmi 15C, plus a second sensor that hasn’t been detailed yet. Up front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera sitting in that waterdrop notch.
And the biggest highlight of the Redmi 15C is definitely its massive 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. That’s a huge upgrade from the previous model’s 5160mAh battery and 18W charging. Xiaomi claims it’ll last up to 77 hours on a single charge and retain 80% capacity after 1,000 charging cycles.
You’re also getting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC support, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
