The Nothing Phone (3a) has been officially announced, and it’s already creating buzz. Though many are still eagerly waiting for the Nothing Phone (3), the company has decided to launch the (3a) and (3a) Pro first. The Nothing Phone (3a) features a modern design with three LED light strips on the back for notifications, camera fill light, and addressable zones. It comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED  display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The screen delivers a peak brightness of 3000 nits, an increase from its predecessor.

Performance and Battery

The Phone (3a) runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, compared to the Dimensity 7200 from its predecessor. It features an octa-core CPU, combining 1x 2.5 GHz Cortex-A720, 3x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A720, and 4x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A520 cores for balanced speed and power efficiency. It comes with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 50W wired charging. The phone can reach 50% charge in 19 minutes and 100% in 56 minutes.

Camera Setup

The Nothing Phone (3a) comes with a triple-camera system, featuring a new telephoto camera, which was missing from the Phone (2a). It includes a 50MP wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera capable of recording 1080p video at 60fps.
