The MSI Vector 16 HX AI is the most premium gaming laptop announced by MSI in 2025 after the flagship Titan series. It comes with desktop-level performance with Intel’s latest “Arrow Lake” processor and RTX 50-series mobile GPU. MSI has just launched a bunch of Vector 16 HX AI  varient in Nepal, which even come with a 2-year international warranty. Design and Display

Starting with the build, the MSI Vector 16 HX AI makes no excuse for its gamery looks, it looks like a spaceship and also comes in a single “Cosmos Gray” color. The whole chassis comes in a durable plastic build, where we get the MSI logo at the top center. The laptop measures 22.20mm in thickness and weighs around 2.7kg. For an added aesthetic touch, we also get a 24-zone RGB keyboard with the Copilot key.

Opening the lid, we are greeted by the gorgeous 16:10 16-inch IPS panel with a resolution of QHD+ (2560×1600) pixels. The panel comes with flagship features such as a fast 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. The screen also has an anti-glare coating for clear visibility in a harsh light environment.

Performance and Memory

As I said in the beginning, under the hood of the MSI Vector 16 HX AI, we get the flagship “Arrow Lake” processor from Intel.

We have two options to choose from one is the Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX with 20 cores, 20 threads, with a max frequency of 5.2 GHz, and the other is the flagship Intel Core 9 275HX with 24 cores, 24 threads, with a max frequency of 5.4 GHz. Both CPUs are capable of performing high-end tasks with ease.

For the Graphics workload, we get NVIDIA’s latest 50-series graphics inside the beast. The GPUs are:

Cooling: Cooler Boost 5

Talking about the cooling, the MSI Vector 16 AI HX supports an in-house Cooler Boost 5 with 2 huge fans and 6 large heat pipes shared between the CPU and GPU. MSI has also introduced MSI Overboost Ultra technology on this Vector 16 AI HX. As a result, it can unlock the maximum 240W CPU-GPU for RTX 5080/90 and 205W maximum for 5070Ti performance even under extreme conditions.

Fueling the Vector 16 HX AI is a 4-cell 90Wh battery, and MSI ships a 330W adapter inside the box. We also get Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the wireless connection. For the camera, we get an IR FHD camera with HDR 3D Noise Reduction+. Other than this, we get a 2x2W speaker.
