Lenovo V15 G4 IRU 2023 (Intel i5-13420H, 16GB, 512GB, 15.6″ FHD)

Most Lenovo laptops are readily available in Nepal. Everything from entry-level idea pads to top-of-the-line Legion Pros can be found and purchased relatively easily through a local retailer. But, we hadn’t seen Lenovo’s V series Business laptops make a strong presence before. In this article, let’s take a look at the Lenovo V15 Gen 4 business laptop price in Nepal, alongside the available configurations and specifications. 

Lenovo V Series Laptops 

Lenovo V series laptops are ‘simple, powerful, and secure’ business devices. They prioritize portability, and reliability alongside a key focus on security, and productivity. As such, they are offered in compact 14” and 15” form factors, alongside efficient ‘U’ class processors, and privacy features. Do note that V 17 laptops, with 17” displays and more powerful ‘H’ series processors are also available in some markets but they are currently unavailable in Nepal.

Design and Display 

Lenovo’s V 15 features a minimal and modern design with a brand logo on the top-right of the lid and a clean front. We get to see a full-sized keyboard which unfortunately lacks a backlight, and a decently sized trackpad. The laptop is easy to carry for office and business use weighing just around 1.7 kg.

On the display front, we get a 15.6” Full HD screen but it is a TN panel. Color coverage is at 45% NTSC gamut – common for laptops at this price point. The display has an anti-reflective matte coating and can go to 250 nits of brightness. 

Performance and Memory 

Under the hood, you can configure the V15 Gen 4 with either Intel or AMD processors. Both 13th-generation Raptor Lake Intel and 7000 series AMD CPU-equipped laptops should eventually make their way to Nepal. But for now, you can get the Ryzen 7320U and Ryzen 7520U-equipped models with 4 Cores and 8 Threads.

On the memory side, you get 8GB of soldered DDR4 RAM, with a slot for an extra stick in the future. Similarly, there’s 512GB of Gen 4 NVME SSD. 

Security and Battery 

For security, the Lenovo V15 has a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) to encrypt passwords and other critical data. It also features malware detection to prevent cyber threats. There’s also a webcam privacy shutter and the laptop passes the MIL 810H durability tests. There’s also a  Kensington Nano Security slot for theft protection.

Moving on the Lenovo V15 business laptop can house 38Wh, 45Wh, and 47Wh batteries depending on the configuration. There’s WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity, 2 USB A ports, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack, an HDMI 1.4 port, and an ethernet jack for wired connections.
