HP revealed its OmniBook 7 series of slim, everyday laptops back at Computex 2025. And the new OmniBook 7 Aero with AMD’s Ryzen AI processor has finally made its way to Nepal as well. So, without any delay, let’s dive into the specifications, features, and official price in Nepal for the HP OmniBook 7 Aero.

HP OmniBook 7 Aero Overview:

Design and Display

Starting with design, this new HP Omnibook 7 Aero has an impressively thin and light build. HP says this laptop weighs less than 1 kg (technically, 0.997 kg is less than 1 kg, so we’ll give this one a pass). It also has a pretty clean look and an aluminum build, further adding to the premium look and feel of the laptop.

Moving to the display, the OmniBook 7 Aero has a 13.3-inch IPS display with a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) pixels. This display is also decent enough to get some work done outdoors since it has a respectable 400 nits of peak brightness. Alongside an anti-glare coating to reduce reflections.

The best part is that this screen even has 100% sRGB colors and DC dimming to minimize screen flickering when using it at low brightness levels.

Performance and Memory

As I mentioned earlier, the OmniBook 7 Aero uses AMD’s Ryzen AI processor. More specifically, the one available in Nepal has Ryzen AI 5 340, which has six “Zen 5” cores and 12 threads.

The graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon 840M GPU, while it ships with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD.

The HP OmniBook 7 Aero also features an NPU with up to 50 TOPS of performance for on-device AI workloads. On top of that, HP has included its own AI Companion tool as well, which works offline to help analyze documents and improve system performance.

Connectivity, battery, and others

The Omnibook 7 Aero supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Whereas it has a couple of USB-C connections with up to 10Gbps data rate, alongside a couple of USB-A, an HDMI 2.1, and one 3.5mm audio jack.

Powering the laptop is a 43Wh battery. It fuels up via a 65W adapter, which HP says can take the laptop to 50% in just 30 minutes. Besides, the OmniBook 7 Aero has a backlit keyboard, dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra audio, and a 5MP IR camera with Windows Hello login.
