Acer has introduced two models from its Aspire series to the Nepali market: the Aspire Lite 16 and the Aspire Lite 14. Both laptops cater to different user needs while maintaining affordability and functionality. Here’s a detailed look at both Acer Aspire Lite 14 and Aspire Lite 16 laptops, including their price in Nepal.
The Aspire Lite 16 features a sleek, traditional design in Silver, measuring 17.9mm in thickness and weighing 1.81 kg. It comes with a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a matte and anti-glare finish, offering a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a 60Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Aspire Lite 14 also has a minimalistic design in Silver, with minimal branding on the lid. This model houses a 14-inch TFT LCD panel with a ComfyView matte finish, maintaining the same WUXGA resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
Powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500H processor from the Raptor Lake series, the Aspire Lite 16 offers robust performance. It is equipped with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, ensuring quick data access and smooth multitasking. Conversely, the Aspire Lite 14 houses an Intel i3-N300 processor with eight cores and eight threads, clocking up to 3.8 GHz. It includes 8GB of DDR5 onboard RAM and a 512GB NVMe Gen 3 SSD for storage. This model is not upgradable, emphasizing a fixed hardware configuration.
The Aspire Lite 16 provides versatile connectivity options, including three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, Ethernet, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.1. It also integrates TPM 2.0 for enhanced security measures. Meanwhile, the Aspire Lite 14 offers a decent selection of ports, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, an HDMI 1.4 port, a MicroSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It supports standard wireless connectivity but does not include advanced options like WiFi 6E.
The Aspire Lite 16 is equipped with a 3-cell Li-ion battery with a capacity of 62.7 Wh, and it comes with a 100W AC adapter for charging. Additional features include a chiclet keyboard, multi-touch trackpad, 720p HD webcam, stereo speakers, and dual-array microphones. In contrast, the Aspire Lite 14 draws power from a 45Wh battery, ensuring adequate usage time for basic tasks. It features a non-backlit TKL keyboard, integrated Intel UHD graphics, and runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system.
